When do I think about flowers?

After you have booked your venue

After you have decided your color theme and style

After you have chosen your bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses

When Should I book my Florist?

Book a florist or floral designer 6 to 9 months prior to your wedding date, 12 months if during popular wedding months of Spring and Fall

What about Deposits and Contracts?

Expect to pay a nonrefundable deposit when you book your florist. Some require ½ of order, while others require smaller amount. Balance of order will be due at least 3 weeks before the wedding.

Review the contract details to make sure you are comfortable before signing.

Make sure you can make changes to your order if needed, and the deadline to do so.

Expect to pay your florist with a check or credit card, and to sign the original contract during a meeting with the florist or mail the original to them.

Plan on allocating $300 to $1,000 in your budget for arch/arbor floral designs or other installations. Pricing also depends on the type and amount of flowers needed
